Scott and I went with my parents to The Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert on Friday. David Archuleta was the guest singer and I have never seen so many little girls! Haha. A few of them squealed when he came out on stage and I heard one usher having a grand time talking to all the girls about David Enchilada and they’d indignantly tell him, “It’s Archuleta!!” It was a beautiful concert though. After it was over we walked over to Temple Square with the rest of the crowd and looked at all the sparkling Christmas lights. It was magical. This time of year is so hectic and sometimes I feel like pulling my hair out but I love the moments when everything clears away for just a few moments, whether it’s while holding hands with the one you love surrounded by glittering lights or when all your children are tucked in bed and you peek in on them and see their sleeping angel faces, and you can just revel in the peacefulness. It’s almost over and I’m making a more valiant effort to seek out those moments and enjoy them before they’re gone until next year.
